This 2 TB Western Digital Elements Wii Games Hard Drive is preloaded and ready with 950 total Wii and GameCube games. This drive works across multiple platforms including Wii, vWii on Wii U, and Windows 10/11 PC's. Save games transfer between all platforms making this one portable gaming device. Take it to work and catch up on Metroid over your lunch break on your Windows laptop and pick up right where you left off the night before on your Wii or Wii U. It really is one neat little device that we have tested and engineered to work as described with minimal set up.

- Fast and Easy Set Up On Windows 10/11
For Windows you plug the drive into an open USB port and assign the drive a letter. You then configure or sync your controller and you are ready. The games and file paths are already set for you. There is already a shortcut to the Dolphin emulator for Windows on the drive ready for you. Please see the last few images for Dolphin in action. Instructions are included with our digital product guide.
- Plug and Play With Some Modded Wii and Wii U Consoles
We include a 16GB Wii Homebrew SD card with the drive for maximum compatibility. If you have already been playing games off a hard drive on your Wii or the vWii on Wii U then you can plug this drive in and go. It's ready. The drive is compatible with both USB and SD boot Wii and Wii U set ups and the SD card is loaded with Homebrew apps to help you manage your modded console.
If your Wii is modded but not set up for USB or missing emulators, USB loaders, or other apps you will find all of those apps on the Homebrew SD card. Instructions on how to add apps and channels are included with our digital product guide. We also offer you full support if you need an assist getting your drive up and running.
That's Okay. The software and apps to mod your Wii or vWii console is included on the SD card. We include a guide on how to mod your console and we offer you support, even a Zoom call if you need it. If this is you I would plan on 60 to 90 minutes to read the guide and do the mod.
If you don't have a Wii or don't want to mod one at all then you can just use the drive on Windows. Most Bluetooth controllers are compatible and you can even hook up original GameCube controllers and Wii remotes through a USB adapter which is sold separately.
