Leader of NDP Party 1975-89

Ed Broadbent once best liked leader in Canada

This 1988 biography of Ed Broadbent is a First Edition of the popular leader of  Canada's New Democratic Party, in near Fine collectible condition.

For a brief period of time, Broadbent was the most popular federal politician in Canada, polling higher than such leaders as former Prime Minister Pierre Trudeau.

The book is in near Fine condition, with no wear or signs of prior ownership.  The covers and spine are pristine, the hinges and textblock firm. There are no remainder marks, and no library stamps.

Judging from the tightness of the binding, we believe the book was never read.

The dust jacket has a tiny (4 mm) tear to the bottom front and some random spotting, but is otherwise in very good condition.
