Each character is portrayed with intricate details. Conquest is depicted as a victorious warrior, with a proud gaze and an adorned helmet. War is portrayed in armor and wielding a sword. Famine is represented with a skeletal face and a scale in hand, symbolizing famine and misery. Lastly, Death is depicted in a dark cloak and wielding a sharp scythe, symbolizing the end of life and passage to the afterlife. On the reverses the inscriptions: "THE FOUR HORSEMEN OF THE APOCALYPSE".
