Minolta AF 28-85mm f3.5-4.5 Lens.  Minolta AF / Sony Alpha Fit.  Excellent Condition.  Original "Beer Can" Design.

An excellent example of this high quality, sturdily built lens from Minolta, built to a standard rarely seen today.  

2 ring operation prevents "zoom droop" when carried, and it has a "macro" facility for close focussing.

Designed as part of the original Minolta 7000 Autofocus camera range, launched in 1985, the first proper AF SLR system in the world.

I personally used one of these lenses professionally "back in the day" and can vouch for its ability to provide superb results.

Optically it's clean and clear, with less than expected dust/marks of a 40 year old lens.  The zoom runs smoothly, and focussing/aperture work as they should.  Cosmetically, as the photos show, it's in excellent order too.

A high quality lens at a realistic price.  

Fits all Minolta AF / Dynax film cameras, along with many Sony "A series" Alpha dSLR cameras too.
