For sale is a real unicorn bike: a very rare, early 1980's Schwinn Superior. These bikes were made with Reynolds 531 tubing (with and Tange fork) and Nervex lugs by famous frame maker Don Mainland in Wisconsin, for Schwinn. They are incredibly rare so quite tough to find.

This bike is in outstanding condition, and has been fully restored with lots of new parts and appropriate upgrades. This would make an incredible L'Eroica bike, or just one for the wall! The frame measures on the seat tube as 58 cm C-C, and 59.5 cm from C-Top. The top tube measures 57 cm C-C.

This bike is in outstanding condition. The only problems are the top tube "Superior" decal is worn on the drive side of the frame. Paint and decals are original.

Front and rear wheels have been tightened and trued and should have some good life. Rear wheel does have a 3-5 mm hop in the rim and will eventually need to be replaced. Frame needs a new Campagnolo rear dropout adjuster on the drive side of the frame.
