Uncommon signed copy of this autobiography of the jazz great William Henry Joseph Bonaparte Bertholf Smith (1893 - 1973). Smith was instrumental in developing the Harlem stride piano style, along with Fats Waller and others, which would become popular in the 1920s. He was great influence on Duke Ellington, who writes the Foreword for this books.
