You can tell the valve is OEM by the writing of POLLAK on the mounting bracket,  Beware of the cheap imitations and buy the original equipment.

These were mass produced by the thousands and were made to the standards of those days and were not show quality. It will show minor flaws, imperfections and or scratches that were the result of the manufacturing process, long term storage and being piled on top of one another when manufactured so please don't expect perfection.
