1937 shakedown cruise cover for the submarine USS Pollock. The cover cancellation is July 20, 1937 Aruba D. W. I. (Dutch West Indies). The stamp is the 3 cent purple Navy in the Army-Navy issue (SC# 792). Handwritten addressed to Bronx, NY. Apparently produced by Alex Hesse, Jr. per the back stamp. Both sides of the cover the buyer will receive are shown in the photos.
