The California Raisin Show Production Cel Signed by Will Vinton (Murakami-Wolf-Swenson, 1989). The original Claymation version of the California Raisins was created as a series of 1980s television commercials for Sun-Maid, produced by Will Vinton. This unlikely concept took hold, and suddenly the Raisins were in-demand superstars, with successful record albums, toys, television specials, and this 13-episode series of traditionally animated cartoons, shown on CBS from September 16 through December 9, 1989.

This an authentic production Cel from the show's tenth episode, "Hold That Jungle," aired on Nov. 19th, 1989 as seen at about the 4:15 mark.

Beebop, Red, Stretch, A.C. and the other rockin' Raisins are all here are all here facing the Tarzan raisin character (who to me if you watch the original episode looks a little like he was inspired visually and verbally by Robin Williams!), backed by a print background added for presentation purposes.

The cel has been hand-signed by Will Vinton, and is matted with an opening of 9.5" x 7.5"; overall frame size is 14.5" x 12.25".

COA signed by Name That Toon president Craig Wolfe from 1994 (and is one of two similar cels we are selling currently along with a Mark Twain Claymation statue)!
