Pictured here is an antique glazed porcelain Foo dog lion made by an expert craftsman of the late Qing Dynasty around 1900. This piece is a female Chinese Foo Dog Guardian Lion as shown by her right paw placed on the head of her puppy. The males have their paws placed on an orb. She sits on a pierced plinth and has a sweet softness to her eyes. She is painted in a lovely shade of yellow and jade green with a very bold design overall. On each of her ears there is a small age related pottery crack.   Please refer to the photos for the best look. She is a real antique treasure and will display well.

She measures 6 ¼” tall x 2½” at the widest point on her body.
