This is the first (and most straightforward) iteration of the Joyo GemBox series. Set up your own patches (or use the presets) and numbers and then scroll between them. Patches comprise slots for amp voicings, boost, overdrive, compression, a large modulation effects selection including chorus and ring modulation, delay, cabs etc.. Plus, of course, the assignable pedal controller.

Up to 8 effects can be used in a patch, see details below, and each effect can be tweaked and stored in the user memory then selected via scrolling using the twin footswitches.

By default the pedal acts as a volume control but depending on the effects selected in the patch the pedal can be used to control delay time, gain boost, modulation depth/speed, wah, cab sim etc, etc.  Even an acoustic simulation is included, so ideal to plug into a DAW or multi track to get ideas down quickly without fiddling about.

Many users will see it as the lightweight and portable multi-fx swiss army knife tool that Joyo intended it to be.  Another way is to configure it to be that standalone effect 'never much used but needed today'.. so can become a specific overdrive, vibrato, tremolo or perhaps a deeply dirty wah/fuzz on your existing pedal board.

Good clean condition. It has been used but I doubt it has ever been seriously gigged or much out of the box. The only blem I can see is a tiny 2-3mm mark on the screen that I suspect could be dried adhesive residue from when it had a plastic cover on it when new, or just a wee ding  (I only noticed it today when taking pics and it has no impact on the display. The box shows the usual signs of doing its job over the years!
