A VERY IMPRESSIVE EARLY TWENTIETH CENTURY STERLING SILVER CIGAR CASE.

The rectangular Case measures 12.5cm x 8cm.

Weight is a substantial 180 grams.

Of rectangular curvex cushion form with an attractive planished finish in the style of the contemporary Arts and Crafts Movement.  Central monogrammed cartouche. Gilded interior with further engraved signatures.  Original elastic retainer.

Hallmarked for Birmingham, 1910.  Maker's mark of A & J Zimmerman.

In very good, clean and crisp condition. There is no damage to the silver Case. The interior gilding is intact.  The clasp closes but has become rather loose. The original elastic retainer has lost its tension.  A splendid example.

My antique silverware can be purchased with complete confidence. I have an excellent eBay profile and accept returns should the items fail to please.
