I opened the chassis to inspect and troubleshoot a drive belt that was sticking. It works perfectly now— the front face bar of the drive bar was sticking, so I took it off. The drive now opens/closes properly— occasionally sticks, but opens easily with a light tug on the disc drawer.

I googled the unit, and found that sticking problems are usually the slippage of the small rubber belts that drive the transport and open and close the drive drawer. This is an easy fix:-take off the cover and

replace the little belts, or there is a spray you can get that causes the belts to stick to the rollers, and stop the slipping.

All functions work well. Playback and recording of several formats of CD 💿, and a synchronized high speed dubbing feature that works with a second compatible player.

The unit has a recording feature that automatically inserts a track number after each song on an LP or tape, conveniently cutting down on track and index editing.

The unit is in excellent cosmetic condition, showing only slight signs of normal wear.

My price reflects the fact that the drive drawer sometimes needs a bit of help to get going, and I have identified the issue and this description gives the instructions for an easy fix.
