GBD New Standard London Made
Classic 9456 Bent Billiard, Saddle
Tight Birdseye and Cross-Grain
Wonderful Stem, it’s Near Mint!

Offering a fine looking GBD New Standard, a sharp looking classic design. The shape is 9456, full-bent stout billiard with saddle stem, nicely made. The bowl shows some beautiful right birdseye on the left side, and mixed cross-grain on the right side. The exterior is in fine shape, very light normal signs of use, and no issues. The inside of the bowl has an even seasoning, and it draws easy, with the draw hole bottom center. The stem looks great, looks hand-cut, with beveled edges on the saddle bit and well-made button. It’s made of high-quality vulcanite, good glossy black surface. It has couple tiny tooth marks on the bottom by the button, in great shape. Has the early brass GBD rondelle, so it’s pre-1980 era. Weight is about 1.65 ounces. It is freshly polished and ready to smoke!
