scanning the barcode on the label. This seems to occur only about 50% of the time.
When you get the SHIPPED notification, that means your item has been dropped
off at the post office that day. Now, whether the post office actually scans the item into
the system is beyond my control. Sometimes the only scan is when it triggers the DELIVERED
notification by your local post office. The DELIVERED notification is not a final
destination scan, but a scan by your local post office with intent to deliver that day
or usually the following day.
