Fender Telecaster Custom Vintage 1972 in original condition with case

I am reluctantly selling this lovely Blonde Tele Custom. I am the second owner having purchased it in 2005 along with a Fender Champ (see my other listings) from the original first owner who lived in Ohio US and bought brand new in 1972.

It is in excellent condition with just a a bit of wear on the scratch plate. There is a dent in the top which is shown in one of the photos. apart from that it is in exceptional condition for a 52 year old!

The frets are like new because I had it refretted in 2006 by the renowned luthier Martyn Booth and the old fret wire is still in case.Neck is a very rare Birdseye maple which as you can see in the photos is wonderfully figured. Neck is smooth and scratch free and is a nice medium 'C' shape. The action is low and fast.

Includes original Fender case, handbook, tags, original ashtray and cleaning cloth.

Looks, plays and sounds beautifully.

Fantastic sounding original pickups with the wide range humbucker with "CuNiFe" pole pieces (Copper/Nickel/Ferrite) and classic telecaster bridge pickup.

Its quite light at 8 lbs (not like the late '70s Teles which can be 9-10lbs).

The tuners are excellent turn perfectly and the electronics are in good working order.

Cash or bank transfer on collection preferred. Pick-up from Cornwall, you can arrange collection if you prefer and also I would consider using Parcelforce with a special guitar insurance but this costs 2% of the value (or the item) in addition to the shipping price. I would also be prepared to drive up to Bristol or the midlands to deliver or meet the purchaser halfway.

I'm selling some of my other guitars and an amp so please take a look at my other listings.
