Very large and heavy John Forrest full hunter solid silver pocket watch.

Not working.... and sold strictly as a repair project.

Hefty 55mm diameter case, and the entire watch weighs 150gms.

The full hunter case is in great condition, all fitting as it should. The inner hinged bezel is also present. Nice engine turning and a vacant cartouche. Needs a pendant button.

Nice clear Chester hallmarks for 1902.

The going-barrel movement is extremely clean and in great condition. It appears fully wound.

The balance assembly is perfect and the balance wheel oscillates very nicely.

It is engraved with the usual and infamous John Forrest moniker and "Chronometer Maker to the Admiralty".

The dial is damaged as shown. However it does show the full John Forrest signature trademark Fir Tree.

All hands are required too.

This is a really great repair project!
