This is an impressive early doll in spite of it's shortcomings. It measures 16 3/4 tall, 6 1/2 between the ears and 5 1/2 at the shoulders. It is missing it's snout and has one broken foot. There is paint loss as evidenced in the photos. It is not Cottonwood, likely another local more dense species. The reverse shows  a clearer representation of the original pigments as this is a wall hanger and the back was not exposed to light. Looks to be all authentic components ie no replacements. A very authentic and charming early carving.
