THIS IS A STUNNING ANTIQUE WW1 1916-1917 GENTS BRITISH MILITARY ROLEX TRENCH WATCH IN SOLID SILVER.
DESCRIPTION.
This is a beautiful WW1 Military Officers Rolex wristwatch. This model of Rolex could have been sold to British military personnel during World War One. The condition of this Rolex for being 100 years old is good with normal age related wear to the case but considering it could have been worn in the trenches its in good condition. The stunning original enamel dial and hands ooze that military style and charm.
This watch has an unusual coat of arms inscription on its outer case back what could have been the original owners family coat of arms or a military coat of arms. It is also dated 1919 when the inscription was done.
The wonderful Rolex 15 jewels movement has been fully serviced by our watchmaker in the past 3 months.

CASE.
The solid silver cushion shape case is in good condition for its age with light age related wear. The gents case measures 33mm across without the winding crown.
Inside the case back all the marks are correct as expected:
Rolex, W&D, Swiss and fully hallmarked for silver.
DIAL.
The original military style enamel dial and cathedral hand are stunning.

MOVEMENT.
The high grade 15 Jewels movement is in very good condition and has been fully serviced. The movement is signed: Rolex, Swiss Made, 15 Jewels.
