Offered here is a superbly preserved instrument used in a Cold War Era bomber!

This fantastic relic was reportedly removed from a B-36, however the Navy Data Plate makes me suspicious.  Regardless of the type, this "attitude command" style controller enabled the bombardier to fly the aircraft to it's intended bomb release point.  The fate of the entire world could have rested in this joystick!

Mechanically sound and smooth functioning.  Lots of gearing and electronics to study.  Great data plate can provide buyer with awesome research project.

This piece displays beautifully!  Would make a great addition to any Cold War or aviation collection!
