Biggles Cuts It Fine. Captain WE Johns 1959 Edition Vintage Hardcover Dust Jacketed Hodder & Stoughton Book with a unique binding error!

This book was bound with two extra coloured plates! The coloured plates opposite pages 65 & 96 have been inserted twice (see photos)

Written by the legendary Biggles author Captain W.E. Johns, illustrated by Leslie Stead and published in 1959, this Vintage edition of Biggles Cuts It Fine is in good/fair condition for its age. No inscriptions, torn or missing pages. Book is tightly bound with no loose pages. Majority of pages are clean and crisp but others have some foxing to be expected with age. Book is an ex-library copy with a few stamps present throughout the text, some tape marks present on the endpapers. Boards are nice, some minor damage to the front board. Original dust jacket is largely complete with tape marks on the flaps and ‘481’ written on the front. Please see all photos. A rare copy of a harder-to-find Biggles story!
