There is a crack in the housing to the right of the timer. However, this does not affect the operation of the unit.

When setting the timer, push the button down gently to engage the bell.

Video shows cooking a thin crust pizza. The crust was pre-made and not frozen. Looks like I set the timer a bit too long.
