This is super rare Hand made antique Japanese Paper lantern with hand painted hand cut lantern shaped cutouts featuring many flags including The British and American flag as well as some Erin Go Bragh flags. There are also paintings of flowers and dragon. The lantern when folding has six wheels (lantern shaped) around a center. When expanded the lantern is measures almost 51 inches. Just amazing that something so fragile has survived for so  long. This would make a great addition to a origami or lantern collection.
