This machine is in good physical and operational condition. The heat is adjustable from 0 to 1000° F, and the time of contact is adjustable from 0 to 15 seconds.
The press is automatically actuated when the rotating table reaches one of the two extents of its rotation. Turn as far to the left as it can go, and kachunk. Turn it to the right as far as it can go, kachunk. Easy.
It operates on 60-100 PSI of
pressure, and doesn’t require a particularly powerful compressor; 2 CFM
is what it’s rated for. I ran it on a little Harbor Freight pancake
compressor for the video and it made five cycles before restarting. I
wouldn’t run it on that all the time, but you get the idea; a
moderately-sized compressor is sufficient.
