Dare (1902-62) was an antiquarian, writer, and student of the occult who took his own life following a series of arrests for stealing books. Small octavo: 184 p. Original gray boards with a cream cloth spine and stamping in black. Very light bumping to the corners and tips. The dust jacket is a touch toned along the spine, with a small smudge, a minor crease to the front flap, and a few neat tape reinforcements to the verso; otherwise very good. Very good / Very good.
