1968-69 AMC American Motors AMX or Javelin SST Air Filter Cleaner Housing Base

- This air cleaner base was removed from a 1969 AMX

- It is the correct part for 68-69 AMX with a V8 4 Barrel , 1968-69 Javelin with the 343 or 390 engine, 1969 SC/Rambler, and 68-69 Rebel/Ambassador with the 4 barrel V8

- Center opening for the carburetor measures about 4-1/8" across   
- This opening will fit the original Carter 4 Barrel Carburetor.   The later ones made by Edelbrock are a different size and other carbs like a Holley will require an adapter.  

- Diameter across the entire air cleaner is around 16"

- There is some light rust on the inside and outside that will need media blasting and a coat of paint

- Part of the original air filter element sticker is still attached to the base
