A fabulous antique gunmetal moon phase pocket watch. This watch only works when the dial is facing downwards on the table, when it does it is keeping very good time. I don't know if the day, date, month moon phase functions are working, as stated we are not watch makers and this is certainly not a watch we have come across before. Since taking the photographs the hands on the small circles at 60 and 15 have moved, see last photograph. I can see a bit of enamel missing at base and there is a hairline crack extending upwards from the centre of the hands. there is a fracture or chip on the edge of the glass. I am selling for restoration or parts and it is being sold AS IS. The watch is approx'y 6.75cm in diameter. My asking price is approximately half the price fully restored ones are being offered for sale.
