Offered here is a sweet recovered crash site artifact from Colonel Charles Yeager's Lockheed NF-104A AeroSpace Trainer aircraft.   On December 10th, 1963, Colonel (later General) Yeager made two flights in this historic aircraft to altitudes over 100,000 feet.  On the second flight, he lost control of the ship and was forced to eject.

This artifact was recovered from the crash site in 1999 during a survey.  This is a sizeable specimen consisting of ceramic and steel components.  Most linely used for electrical grounding. Over ONE FOOT of wire secured into the ceramic by a screw which is still in place@ A SWEET, complex display piece!  Specimens of this size and quality are rarely, if ever, made available today.  This is a golden opportunity to add a museum quality specimen to your collection.
