This item is a vintage, well-used West Bend pottery bean pot/crock from the mid-20th century featuring a picture of a bean fork and three measuring spoons on the front. The pot has two side handles and the lid with a center handle.

The crock is clean but the interior smells faintly of baked beans-molasses, brown sugar and other ingredients used to make them. The interior is slightly discolored from years of bean cooking. The exterior also shows spots and scuffs as appropriate for a cookware item of this age and regular use. I do not see any visible chips, cracks or crazing.
