The F100 was one of the best film SLRs ever made. 95% of the function of the legendary Nikon F5, without the bulk.

Fast, reliable auto-focus. 4.5 frame / second motor drive. Nikon's proven Matrix metering.

This body is compatible with most modern Nikon full-frame lenses, flashes, and other accessories.

All functions on the camera work perfectly, and show only minimal signs of wear. The rubber grip is getting a bit tacky feeling, as happens with older Nikon SLRs - this can be treated with rubbing alcohol.

This camera includes Nikon's basic AF Nikkor 50mm f1.8 lens in perfect working order, with flawless glass, clean aperture blades and a Nikon UV filter. Original Nikon lens, rear lens, and body caps also included.

Body made in Japan. Lens made in China. See pictures for serial numbers.

As Ken Rockwell says:

"The F100 is the world's second-best 35mm SLR camera. I was happy to pay full price, about $1400, in 1999, for mine. I could have paid not much more for the F5 at the time, but I preferred the newer F100.
As of 2007, I got a Nikon F6 which is a somewhat better camera, but way more expensive. If money matters, get a used F100 for a few hundred dollars and you'll have gotten the deal of the century."
