U.S. Soccer Federation promotional poster for the 1990 FIFA World Cup issued by Budweiser. USMNT had qualified for World Cup for the first time in 40 years! Expressionist image by world renown sports artist Neiman depicts a battle for the ball between anonymous USA and Italy players. The two squads actually competed in the group stage of the 1990 tournament with Italy winning 1-0. Poster was acquired through the beer rep for my father's bar. Poster was never hung, and was stored in a tube for many years. Poster is in very nice condition. Did my best to show various areas of poster without glare. See photos.
Image was later recycled by Budweiser for 1992 World Series of Soccer poster to promote USA matches vs USSR, Australia, and Scotland among others.
