Joyce's oeuvre encompasses his passion for the love of the human form and his love of the landscape. Joyce was passionate about expressing himself with printmaking and other mediums. His prints are jewel like and his processes are reminiscent of the printmaker Norman Ackroyd, where he would take his etching plates on location pitting his wits against the elements. Joyce studied at the Slade School in London and also in Paris and exhibited widely throughout his career
