Measuring a nice displayable size of 42 cm tall, 45 cm in length, and 22 cm across the wheel base, this collectible dog toy boasts a captivating playful character, full of charm and history. His tag tells us that he dates back to 1940 just after the war when Steiff resumed their production once again in the US Zone in Germany.

Remarkably, this plush toy has weathered the years with grace, and it remains in good condition. Though there are a few signs of play including wear to mohair mainly on the top line and one ear has been replace. Pull growler not working. Button missing. Collar not original.

Steiff toys are treasured for their enduring quality, and this early terrier dog toy is no exception. Displays well with other toys.
