For sale is this vintage Collins carpenter's hatchet head, weighing 1lb.7.3 ounces. Signed "Collins Red Seal", it measures 6-9/16" long, with a 3-1/2" wide edge, and a 1-1/8" wide X 1-3/16" tall diameter face, with some splaying, as pictured. The edge is excellent, as pictured, and will respond well to honing and sharpening by a experienced hand.
