This is a 1978 dated Copper over Wood Handmade Hammer Repousse Etched Copper Wall Hanging.

Signed by artist in lower right corner of design.  See photo.

Measures 10 1/4" wide x 17 3/8" tall.

Good Condition, for being 45 years old.

MATERIAL:  Copper over Wood.  Magnet does not stick to this.

DETAILS:  Nice patina to this.  The copper feels to be coated with a protective finish.  Copper metal sheet is attached with small tacks at the corners, with the copper sheet wrapped around the front & sides of the wood board.  The back of the board is painted black.  Some bruises in the metal but I don't think anything that detracts.  Aquatic or nautical theme to this.  Two fish at the top, a larger Angel Fish towards the middle and then 3 fish swimming at the bottom above the rocks.  Fish swimming among vertical streams of plants.  The back has a metal hanger at top for easy hanging.  

We purchased this from an Estate Sale here in Virginia, and we are selling this as found, and we have only gently wiped with a damp cloth, to ensure clean for you.
