1964-1965-1966
Pontiac LeMans GTO
Tri-Power (3 X 2)
Intake & Carburetor System
This sale is for the infamous Pontiac GTO Tri-power set up. Please read the complete description and understand what is being offered for sale plus what we are not implying. This sale is for what is shown in the photos (nothing more and nothing less). It will not benefit anyone to ask if we have other parts for these units as what you see is what you will receive when it is purchased.
The unit has a nice appearance but it has not been restored. It appears to have some small parts missing but the main component is intact. The linkage is free and operable.
Application: These Tri-Power units were available on the 1964, 1965 and 1966 Pontiac LeMans GTO models. This specific unit is date coded correctly for a 1965 model car with a date code of "C6 5" (research indicates that translates to a date of March 6, 1965).
The casting number on the Pontiac intake manifold is 9778818. The part number on the front and rear carburetor is 7029683 while the center carburetor does not have a visible number.
Condition: The condition is used and has not been restored. We are not presenting this unit as an NOS unit, mint or even perfect. We are not even suggesting that it is "bolt-on" ready for your car. It will need some TLC to be ready to install and use on any vehicle.
The integrity of the metal of the intake is really good with no signs of deterioration or rust. Even the journals of the intake are clean and free of damage. As you can see from the photos the casting number, date code and firing order information is very legible on the upper side of the manifold.
Warranty & Returns: Please note that there is NO warranty expressed or implied with this item. We do not have any way to test the unit or determine its functionality. Even though it has an excellent appearance we simply are not able to provide any warranty with this set up. Due to the weight and shipping expenses returns are not available with this item.
Shipping: We take a lot of pride in carefully shipping items. Most items are shipped by USPS, often with their Flat Rate service. Larger items occasionally necessitate an oversize box with higher costs. The item will be packed well to insure safe arrival and timely arrival at your location.
The buyer is welcome to personally inspect the item prior to sale. The buyer may also avoid shipping costs by using the local pick up option.
Since we do not know where the item will potentially be shipped to (California or Maine) the projected shipping cost is an estimate of what it will take to ship such a heavy item. If the package is shipped to a city nearer our location the shipping fees may be less and will be refunded to the buyer.
Please let us know if you have any questions. We welcome the opportunity to help you with your classic car. If you need additional parts just let us know and we will be happy to list it for sale. Our primary focus recently has been the 1964 to 1967 Cutlass 442 cars and parts we have available. Feel free to contact us for individual pricing, shipping quotes, etc.
Our store features the "Make Offer" option
so feel free to submit a reasonable offer and we promise to fairly and
promptly review it. Being an old car guy I fully understand the
"haggling" process in buying vintage car parts. We welcome the chance to negotiate with you
to make this a successful transaction for both parties. These parts
need to get into the hands of the people who need them for their classic
car.
You can buy from us with confidence knowing that we will do
whatever it takes to satisfy each customer. We have been affiliated with
the eBay process for several years and know what it is like to
anxiously buy something over the phone or the internet. It can be a
stressful time to purchase something without physically seeing the item
or taking possession of the item at the moment you pay for it. Since we
know that feeling firsthand, we make every attempt to go “overboard”
with our selling procedures to insure that you are pleased with your
purchase. Please don’t hesitate to email us with any questions you have
about the item. We will be glad to share any information with you that
we can.
We want you to be as happy when you have the item in hand as you
are when you view it on your computer screen. If this does not occur we
will gladly refund your purchase price to retain a satisfied customer.
Our philosophy is that no amount of money or any product is more
important than friends. So we will not let a monetary sale get in the
way of friendship. Thanks for looking at our items and bid with
confidence!
We gladly accept PayPal for payments. With PayPal your item will be shipped within 24 hours of confirmation of payment.
Please remember to look at our other items on eBay!
We specialize in collectible car parts and automotive memorabilia
and often have special collectible items that are neat to own.

My Background
Hi, my name is Mark Sain. I've been a car buff for many years. Here's a bit of my story:
At a used car lot in a small middle Tennessee town the 'car bug'
bit and I have been infected with this disease for over fifty years.
The father of one of my high school friends was a co-owner in the
dealership, which allowed me the opportunity to grow up around these
classic cars. One of my first drives was an SS Impala, which has a way
of hooking you for life! When you were in the graduating class of 1967
you were born to love the muscle cars of that era.
Over the last four decades I have bought, sold, restored and
collected cars from every vintage. There was a Cadillac LaSalle, some
Ford Mustangs, a sweet 1953 MG-TD, several Corvettes, a few pickups, and
even a 1926 Studebaker! This diversified experience has included owning
approximately 150 cars in the last forty-three years!
Within the last twenty years it has been my pleasure to
concentrate more on collectible parts as I have personally witnessed how
hard it is to find good quality, original parts for a vintage car. My
travels have taken me to swap meets at Carlisle, Hershey, Charlotte,
Indianapolis, Chicago, Moultrie, Louisville, etc. where I have built a
relationship with other car hobby enthusiasts as a fair and reputable
buyer and seller. I currently hold a ten-year certificate from
Corvette Bloomington Gold for being a vendor at their prestigious event. As a
result of these efforts, my warehouse now includes forty-two 'parts
cars' and shelves loaded with engines, drive train parts, body parts,
trim pieces, accessories, etc. Most recently I have been specializing in
one of the most classic cars from the sixties - the Oldsmobile Cutlass
442.
My family has lived in Florence for over
35 years where we have
established a good reputation within the community. We own and operate
four businesses in Florence, which enables me to devote my 'hobby' time
and energy to one of the real passions of my life. For me it has never
changed. I grew up around the classic cars of the sixties and my wife
jokingly says I have never grown up when it comes to these treasures.
We look forward to developing a relationship with you as we help you with your classic car.
