This is a stunning example of a beautiful solid silver trinket box made in Chester, dated 1901. I am not quite sure if it is Victorian or Edwardian, bearing in mind not all hallmarks included Victoria's head and she did not die until 1901.

Beautiful repousse work, lovely gilt interior comes with this oval shaped box. The hinge is 100% firm and the lid fits straight and tight.
Clear hallmarks to inside gilt interior and to the outside of the lid. This box has obviously been cherished.

Length: 9.5cm (approx)
Weight:42g

All reasonable offers considered, but this is a stunning box worth more than the asking price from what I see at auction today.
