The pen core is housed internally and has a structure that draws in air from the aluminum pipe portion. This type was produced only in the early stages and is considered a rare model. Later, the specification was changed so that the pen core is visible from the back of the pen tip.
Successor model to the two-digit lineup from the 1960s. Production began in 1971. This is a series with a number starting with "1" at the top line. It succeeds the two-digit Meisterstück model. In the 1970s, models were named with three-digit and four-digit numbers due to shaft decorations. Models starting with "1" have an 18K nib. The cap features thick plating technology, with gold plating replaced by gold plating. The cap is adorned with pinstripes. The nib is thin and flexible.
