This set of new old stock, NOS, tail lights came from the estate of an automotive designer in Michigan. I cannot identify them, no casting number are found anywhere on the chrome bezel, even when disassembled. No marking on the red lens, not even an SAE number. The small oval shaped reflector is stamped with "Stimsonite AGA". Stimsonite was a manufacture of reflectors back in the 1950s, and this reflector was likely a production piece that that was used  on these and  many other makes and models, but the main lens has no marking at all. The lights appear similar to 1952 1953 1954 Mopar lights used on various Chrysler models, as well as Desoto, Plymouth, Dodge, except they do not have the vertical center bar and have a built in back up lens in the assembly, whereas these have not back up lens.  In addition they are shaped somewhat differently.  I am speculating based on where they came from they might be prototype lights given the fact they lack any markings, or earlier pre production parts. Or possibly aftermarket lights, JC Whitney, or speed shop, custom car hot rod shop lights. They would look cool on a chopped lead sled or any custom car design, and you would have the only set. The size is shown in the photos, please see all 24 photos uploaded. These are in perfect condition, no pitting or specs on the chrome and the lens are shiny, clearly never mounted on a car.
