DO NOT SEND WATER DAMAGED OR BURNT OUT MODULES, FOR £26.99 YOU ARE NOT GETTING A FULLY REBUILT CIRCUIT BOARD COMPLETE WITH NEW COMPONENTS, YOU WILL GET A SOFTWARE CORRECTION SERVICE WHICH CURES THE COMMON FAULT WITH THE FRM3 AFTER A BATTERY HAS GONE FLAT OR SHORTED ETC.

After battery replacement or low battery the FRM3 module may loose programming data resulting in indicators, windows headlights etc failing

Common Failure symptoms:

 1. Indicators not working

 2. Hazard lights not working

 3. Headlights staying on / won't switch off

 4. Taillights staying on / won't switch off

 5. No main beam

 6. Interior lights not working

 7. Electric windows not working or will open but not always close

 8. No communications with FRM Module or AC/heating fan does not work

 9. Maintenance/service light permanently on dash

Common fault codes:

Communications to the FRM unit will not be possible, but fault codes will be stored in other electronic control units.

497F ? Message Error (status, reverse gear, 0x3B0) 

Diesel Electronics Receiver Footwell Module TransmitterA3B4 ? Message (lighting condition) Incorrectly, Transmitter FRM PermanentA3C1 ? Message (FRM foot space module) Incorrectly receiver COMBI, 

Transmitter FRM - Permanent.E72B (window error) and E72C (window error)

The FRM3 module is located on driver side under steering on BMWs and passenger side on Mini.

This Service is for FRM3 only - do not get confused with the FRM2 FRMII

How to use the service:

1. Buy the service on eBay

2. Remove the FRM module from the car and box it up popping the eBay invoice inside making sure it has a return address.

3. You will receive a eBay message from us within 30mins containing postage address.

4. Post it to us ( if you need it back asap post using Royal Mail Special Delivery and select Special Delivery at Checkout) 

5. IMPORTANT - When you receive the FRM back it will be plug and play and work without failure PROVIDING: 1. You have diagnosed it correctly and it was actually at fault in the first place & 2. You do not have any further issues elsewhere on the Car.

AFTER REPAIR WE WILL POST  IT BACK SAME DAY (if received before 2 pm) BY ROYAL MAIL SPECIAL DELIVERY Next day guaranteed or Tracked 24, fully insured up to £500.00 pounds.

If no postage is selected at checkout it will be sent out same day via Royal Mail Tracked 24.
