Up for sale is my Seat Toledo 1.9 Tdi Sport.

Not many of these about now especially in this spec and condition.

Purchased as a cheap commuter 3 years ago now and became very attached to it! It's been nothing short of a fantastic little car and I'll be sad to see it go, I have been all over the UK and Europe in it, but my circumstances have changed and it doesn't get a lot of use nowadays!

I have known of the car for a long time and it was purchased from a good friend who owned it for many years, it's been well maintained and looked after in that time, and everything works spot on!

Being the Toledo it's basically a Seat Leon with a big secure boot (ideal for long journeys etc) it has the rare cupra interior in red being the sport model, front fogs and mk1 cupra bumpers etc...

I have a stack of reciepts, the original service pack and manuals, 2 keys and even some spares that I got from the previous owner/bits I have accumulated myself....

It is also the very economical and desirable 1.9 non PD engine, easily achieves 60+ mpg on a run and literally runs on fresh air! Doesn't smoke rattle or make any funky noises, pulls well with plenty of power....apparantly you can even run this on used veg oil, but I'll leave the new buyer to give that one a go!!

Cam belt was done at 185k and its around 204k now, just had new brakes all around with reciept, long MOT remaining and for last years mot it had new lower arms, bushes and wipers/numberplates.

New radiator fitted in 2022, along with coolant flush, oil service and pollen filters/AC re gas.

Air conditioning blows ice cold

Wheels were replaced last year for 17in Leon Cupra wheels, the 15in alloy wheels corroded on the inside and kept leaking, it was cheaper to buy a replacement set of nicer looking wheels than get 4 refurbished! Good tyres all around and recent one on the front due to a puncture.

Interior is clean and tidy, no sagging headlining etc but does have some wear and marks consistent with the age and miles. All windows and electrics work etc and no warning lights on the dash etc.

Exterior is clean and tidy and cleans up well, it's had some paint over the years with the previous owner, because it faded and went pink... it still looks good and there is no rust underneath or on the sills/arches/wings.

In short, if you are looking for a cheap, economical and reliable daily, that doesn't look like dad's taxi, this is the car for you! I'd hop in and take it anywhere!

Only bad points are that the central locking doesn't work on the key fob (you have to lock it manually, but the central locking works fine) and there are a few chips and marks on the bodywork including a scratch down the passenger side (which looks presentable as its been touched in and polished)

Cracking little car and I'll be sad to see it go!

01/05 - Update! Just had a replacement wheel bearing and interior wet vac, seats look excellent now!!
