Fletcher’s Alltones Tungs-Tone Phonograph needles, NOS, 1920s.

Original Store Stock Package of FOUR brand new (from the 1920's) Fletcher Alltones Tungs-Tone style needles for use on your Wind-up Phonograph (brands that play regular 78 RPM Victrola records). These rare phonograph needles have a rather unique patented design that is better than the Victor Victrola brand of Tungs Tone Needles, in that you can rotate them to adjust the volume at which your record is played, rather than having to buy needles that are designed for a particular volume only (such as soft tone, medium tone or loud tone). This needle, when rotated, will increase or decrease the volume of the record playing, due to the needle's neck design. These needles are referred to as "Semi-Permanent" as they are designed to give you 100's of plays instead of the regular steel needles, which are designed to be changed after each play of the record (that's right, every time!). Give them a try, if you have a wind-up record player that plays regular 78s. This is a great well-designed product which was sold for 25 cents a package in the 1920s. Each package is marked "FLETCHERS ALL TONES IN ONE", "SEMI-PERMANENT PHONOGRAPH NEEDLES", "FLETCHER'S ALL TONES NEEDLE COMPANY", and "28 SIXTH AVENUE, NEW YORK, USA". On the back of each package, you will find the instructions for needle placement for Loud Tone, Medium Tone or Soft Tone. Each set of FOUR NEEDLES is original, and will be well packaged to preclude damage in shipment.  See photos. MINT CONDITION NEW OLD STOCK! These needles will not work correctly on Edison Amberola cylinder players. Winning bidder pays 6.95 shipping, handling and insurance for US delivery. Overseas ask for quote. Accept Paypal.
