In really great shape and comes with original power supply and Users Manual as pictured.

If you're looking, you already know: producer Randy Staub used this unit as his "secret weapon" on Evanescence's "What You Want" guitars, for widening tracks and enhancing bass. A pretty awesome sounding effect. An infamous psychoacoustic processor, the Wow Thing units are hard to come by and getting harder and harder to find as they are no longer produced.

This unit is tested and working; as far as I can tell, no issues. Given the unit's age (20 yrs+) and that there is almost no signs of wear, it's listed as "Excellent."

Other misc. notes:
Sound processing is based on psychoacoustic processing for Bass ("TruBass") and Highs/Mids ("WOW"). The advantage of this unit over other NuReality Vivid 3D units is that you have control over how much of each you want to use, rather than presets. There's also a Volume knob, which is incredibly helpful. You will need DI boxes to get signals to correct volumes.

The WOW Thing is a small audio processor that connects between your computer, TV, portable "boom box", or any other stereo music playback system and either your headphones or powered speakers. The WOW uses the patented spatial process called SRS or Sound Retrieval System that has found its way into many higher end stereo products. The WOW Thing processes any normal stereo recording into a wider-than-normal panoramic stereo audio image. In addition, there is a bass enhancement mode that will belie your speakers' capabilities. This extra stereo width and bass energy help to make multi-media or any smaller speakers sound bigger and better. You'll be able to control the stereo width with the WOW control and also add additional subsonic bass with the TruBass control.
