I remember their TV ads. They had a bird leaning against the back fin with a pillow, and would say: Western Air Lines, The Only Way To Fly, then the camera would show the tail of the plane and it would have a city on it. Each commercial was different in that it would be a different city. We would try and guess the city before it would pop up.
From what I found in a Google search, this might be before 1967.
After 67 they changed it to Airlines, (all one word).
They started using Air Lines in 1941, but this is much newer as it's a plastic frame with glass face.
As seen in photos, I didn't clean the glass, (it had a price sticker upper right from G/S), and the rest of the bad photo is reflection.
Looks to be NOS as the prop to hold it up was never removed from the frame.
