Gemmy Green Fluorite and Pyrite Specimen - El Hamman Mine, Meknes, Morocco
This is a superb example of gemmy green Fluorite with Pyrite from the El Hamman Mine near Meknes in Morocco. The piece shows a complex multi-stepped formation, and is a beautiful translucent pale sea-green, dotted with small Pyrite crystals. This piece was in the collection of the well respected Mineralogist, the late Dr Bob King, founder of the Russell Society.
The piece weighs 40g and measures approx 49 x 25 x 28mm, and is best viewed under magnification to see the full detail (All weights and measures are approximate)
It will be sent in the original box, with label.
This piece comes from a from a lifelong collector of minerals who mainly self-collected from all over the world and the UK. He obtained this piece from the Bob King Collection, who had obtained it from a mineral dealer.
