Vintage 9-Pin Miniature Tube Test Socket Adapter by Walsco model 1949-12.

Test Socket Adapters provide a convenient way to make in-circuit vacuum tube voltage, resistance, or signal measurements without tracing complicated circuits from the bottom of the chassis. They feature: Extended Test Tabs for easy use with either alligator clips or test prods; Low loss MICA-FILLED molded phenolic construction per MIL-M-14. They are very useful for diagnosing problems in vacuum tube devices.

Originally intended for vacuum tube VHF tuner diagnostics, the 1949-12 is equally useful for testing amplifiers, radios and other vacuum tube devices.

These examples are unused, in the original sealed blister pack from the 60s or 70s.

Walsco Electronics of California was a division of GC-TEXTRON Electronics of Rockford, IL.  GC Electronics remains in business today but vacuum tube accessories are no longer listed in their catalog.
