Antique Early Kestner 148 mold bisque head shoulder doll. This doll was made prior to the "Made in Germany" mark.

She is approx. 17” tall. She has a gorgeous bisque face with her original blown glass eyes. They are surrounded by lots of finely painted eyelashes. Multi-stroke eyebrows.

Open mouth with four tiny square cut upper teeth. Nice facial coloring. Bisque head is without damage and in excellent condition. Her leather body is in good condition without leakage, there are open areas under both arm pits as shown. Body has darkened with age and use. Bisque hands are excellent with no damage.

Dark brown real hair wig is attached to head. Bottom half of legs are fabric and have some holes as photo shows. I left socks on so they don’t leak or tear holes larger. Antique black socks with some holes. Vintage pantaloons and slip with dress as last photos show. No closures on clothing items. Some holes and darkening from age. I have not laundered.
