LONGHORN from Fall RIVER Massachusetts was a division of CHACE LEATHER PRODUCTS. Dating back to 1910 generations of Chace family members and their respective skilled hand caftsmen over the years created fine leather holsters and products.
The focused on the outdoorsman market, and made products designed like the LONGHORN STEER of their logo, made to survive years in the field under harsh conditions. They pulled out of holster making, I assume yielding to the BIG 3 a genration or so ago.
Chace has become a BLUE CHIP company today, but no longer makes holsters. They are well known for excellent and tough tool carriers and belts, among other things.
This is for a vintage and USED LONGHORN brand, of Fall River, Mass., quality made tan leather gun holster. A handmade, pressure molded, well-oiled leather with a rich leather smell.
The holsters were made with full grain 8.5 oz quality leather and features double stitching and fully welted seams that are slicked & finished. A flair protects target sights.

The holster has a a full suede lining and covered inside snap to avoid scratching your gun.
The holster has a half open muzzle for cleaning and ventilation. It slides on a belt up to 1.75" wide and has a butt forward FBI tilt, presentation.
A wide retention strap and inside snap secure your gun in the holster. The snap is Longhorn stamped, plain Chromed metal.
A very nice sportsman field holster, and small enough for concealment, this item was made to last, not melt near the campfire.
