About the artist:
Noelle Stevenson C&G(silkpainting) is an established silk,textile,watercolour, acrylic and mixed media artist who has exhibited widely at many prestigious venues.She has held over 50 solo, and 40 joint, exhibitions. She works from her studio/gallery in SW Scotland, creating hand-painted original silk pictures, wall-hangings,and cards. She experiments with different techniques, media and subject matter in this ancient art form, to which she gives a modern interpretation. She is influenced by images from the the natural world,both real and imaginary,and the theme 'Natural Elements Translated Into Silk' runs through her work. She also paints in acrylic,watercolour and mixed media, in a number of different styles, but, as always,influenced by nature.
