This T-nut has 9/16-18 threads. I believe most Chinese tool posts use the metric size 14 x 1.5

Please check and make sure your stud matches before buying. If you're counting the threads by measuring 1", make sure to count the grooves of the thread. The metric is 17 threads per inch while the imperial is 18 tpi. This will help keep your stud threads strong and in full contact, and able to fully thread through the T-nut for max shere strength. "The industrial norm suggests that “a bolt should have two full threads beyond the nut”, one for thread engagement and one for tolerances." It also helps lift the T-nut before it's tightened and keeps better stability from the bolt by pressing on the bottom of the T-nut way.

.851" top width of the T

1.246" bottom wider width of the T

1.997" length

.5" thick

.25" smaller step thickness

Measured with Mitutoyo dial calipers.

This nut fits perfectly on my 9" South Bend Lathe. However I need a metric nut for my qctp.
